Group Sales & Marketing Director - Leading 4* Hotel Group
A unique opportunity has arisen for a Sales & Marketing professional with a strong background within the hospitality sector to join a progressive and prestigious group who operate within the hotel sector. Devising a national and international marketing strategy for a number of 4* properties the role offers a high degree of autonomy & reward.
As group Sales & Marketing Director you will be tasked with developing strategic sales and marketing plans for the business and ensuring its successful execution. With full responsibility for the sales and marketing function and the management of personnel within each division the role requires you to contribute to product development and increasing sales
Reporting to and working closely with the CEO responsibilities of the role will include
- Develop a sales plan for rooms in conjunction with the exisiting sales team
- Develop a sales & marketing plan for conference & banqueting, food & beverage, and golf courses in conjunction with the relevant managers.
- Implement plans to maximise revenue
- Travel where necessary overseas in line with sales & marketing plan
- Entertain clients when necessary
- Communicate all strategies to direct staff and management
Key Skills & Experience
- A min of 6 years experience working at senior management level within a sales & marketing function in a similar 4 or 5 star property
- Strong business acumen with ability to deliver results
- Excellent communication skills
- Local experience is essential, international experience a benefit
- Highly motivated with a strong drive to succeed
- 3rd level qualification within Marketing / Sales or a related discipline preferable
- Fluent English is essential
The role offers a highly attractive remuneration package of circa 100K, a high performance related bonus will be paid in addition to this of circa 50K based on meeting KPI's
