WE ARE RECRUITING FOR A FINANCIAL ACCOUNTANT FOR A TEMPORARY CONTRACT IN WATERFORD.

Reporting to the Financial Accounting Manager, this role will provide support in delivering the site objective of having sound financial management and control in the company.

Responsibilities:

    To be responsible for all aspects of month end reporting including US/Irish GAAP standards/IAS, accounting documentation for SOX and internal purposes, all reporting & analysis aspects. To complete relevant accruals, prepayments, reconciliation aspects of month end and other financial month end adjustments to the agreed deadline To complete monthly Global and European financial reporting To complete financial aspects of statutory accounts in an accurate and timely manner and to ensure compliance with corporate and audit standards. To ensure inter-company accounts are reconciled in accordance with company procedures. To submit all statistical returns, corporation tax and VAT To assist in the preparation of the workplan process To provide accurate monitoring of the Company’s cashflow and tracking of deposit interest rates to maximise the Company’s return on the cash asset. Preparation for and facilitation of internal and external audits. Providing financial support to the business as required. To assist financial accounts manager in other relevant adhoc duties Support activity in payroll and receivables Create and update internal documentation
Qualifications and Experience

· Educated to degree level or equivalent
· A qualified accountant (ACA, ACMA, ACCA or CPA)
· At least 3 years relevant finance experience
· Working knowledge of SAP an advantage
· Computer literate with a knowledge and understanding of computerised financial systems.
· Familiarity with SOX controls and compliance
