My client, leading Multinational with European Head-Quarters in Cork, require a GENERAL LEDGER ACCOUNTANT for a 12 month contract position





MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Preparation of VAT and Intrastat returns

  • Preparation of relevant accounts reconciliation

  • Review postings to General Ledger

  • Complete monthly balance sheet reconciliations for investment legal entities

  • Complete month end reporting for Corporate Investment legal entities in compliance with USGAAP

  • Preparation of relevant balance sheet accounts

  • Review postings to General Ledger to ensure reasonableness

  • Assume main responsibility for month-end closing activities of assigned Business Units



Skills and Experience



  1. At least 3 years post qualified experience

  2. Be a qualified accountant

  3. Excellent communication skills both written and verbal

  4. Good Analytical skills

  5. Must have exposure to US GAAP
