The aim is to help companies address the commercial and financial reporting challenges they face, both in the transition to IFRS, and in understanding and complying with financial reporting standards going forward.


Accountabilities

Providing advice to clients on first-time adoption of IFRS and ongoing advice on new standards, changes to standards etc

Provide advice on structured finance type transactions involving complex financial instruments group reorganisations and asset/lease financing

Identifying new business opportunities and working with internal contacts to convert leads and opportunities into engagements

Building and maintaining strong relationships with senior finance personnel

Promoting FAAS both internally and externally

Experience and qualifications
Recognised accounting qualification

Ideally:
Minimum of 1 year practical experience of auditing or preparing financial statements under IFRS at a plc level

An audit or financial advisory background
Strong knowledge of Irish/UK GAAP and Irish company law
Experience of applying IAS 32, IAS 39 and IFRS 7
