Our client is a leading US multinational in the Tipperary area. A permanent vacancy now exists for a Business Systems Analyst Manager to join the team.

Job Purpose

  • Manages staff responsible for working with line of business management and staff to: Define the business, financial, and operational requirements of new systems.
  • Collaborate in the planning, design, development and deployment of new systems, and enhancements to existing systems.
  • Determine ways of leveraging existing systems for new requirements.
  • Enhance business processes, operations, and information process flow.
  • Identify and resolve issues with existing systems.
Job Description

  • Understands corporation's vision, goals and strategies. Develops appropriate IT strategies aligned with the business.
  • Provides advice and counsel regarding effective system utilization to meet business requirements. Understanding the business processes in multiple businesses.
  • Determines alternative delivery mechanisms. Budget Management, Negotiates, secures, oversees & ensures that resources are available to meet the long range operational demands of the area;
    • Oversee and control department budgets,
    • Project capital/RCE expenditures & ROI.
    • Develop, monitor and meet expense and recovery plans; continually look for opportunities for cost avoidance and cost reductions.
    • Manage IT investment for the functional component.
  • Responsible for all aspects of people leadership;
      • Setting expectations,
      • Coaching, counselling, developing, evaluating, feedback, hiring, discipline and separations.
      • Determine necessary mix of skill set.
      • Confronts and deals with employees issues in a constructive and timely manner.
  • Responsible for overall morale of team and promotes cohesive attitude.
      • Establishes staffing / resource plans, determining appropriate mix of sourcing opportunities (outsourcing, offshoring and hot skills).
      • Responsible for Organizational Effectiveness.
      • Participates in setting policies and procedures.
      • Establish and maintain high-quality relationships with all levels across the company and with external partners.
Skills/Experience Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Systems, Telecommunication, and/or other related field.
  • 8+ years of relevant experience to include project management.
  • A minimum of 3 years supervisory experience, employee development, business and process experience.
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment is essential
