We are currently hiring for a key senior role on behalf of a large financial service company that has as its primary mission, to lead a team of legal and technical specialists to develop, maintain and manage insurance products and solutions, for mass affluent, HNW and UHNW individuals. The successful individual must also be able to provide the full suite of legal/tax services (corporate, contract, regulatory, legal agreements, technical etc.) to this client either directly or through the use of external legal advisors.

The role holder must meet a demanding implementation schedule and will need to partner with both internal and external resource providers; a vital part of the role will be the identification and successful management of interdependencies in support of specific business outcomes.

The role holder will be required to manage resource conflicts, planning issues, legal and regulatory issues, and project issues. The role holder will also be required to give update briefings at the Steering Committee and Exco. It will be a requirement for the role to work closely with Sales team and to support managers to ensure there is a common understanding and shared vision of the product and legal services agenda across the organisation.

Required / Desirable Qualifications and Experience

- Essential to have in depth technical knowledge of European Life Assurance Industry and Products.
- Proven Business Analysis and Product development.
- Proven Strategic decision maker.
- Significant exposure to cross border insurance legal, compliance, tax and regulatory matters/issues.
- Relevant 3rd level or professional qualification
- Minimum 7 years experience at Management level in a relevant role and more than 10 years in Financial Services/Insurance Industry.
- Must be mobile and prepared to travel at short notice
