Our client is one of the leading insurance providers in North County Dublin. Due to continued growth they are now looking to recruit a Trainee Commercial Insurance Broker to join their rapidly expanding team.
If you’re self-motivated and passionate about a career in finance, this is a fantastic opportunity to work towards your Professional Diploma in Insurance (CIP) qualification whilst gaining valuable hands-on experience.
As a Trainee Commercial Insurance Broker, you will initially embark on a 3/4 year contract which will involve onsite training in preparation for your CIP exams.
In addition to studying to become a commercial insurance broker, you will assist in a variety of duties. These will include conducting insurance business that conforms to regulatory changes and maintaining client files as specified by the Central Bank. You will also input client and policy details and liaise with insurers.
Once you’ve become CIP qualified, you’ll have plenty of opportunity to progress to senior positions within the insurance industry.
To be considered for this position, you must have a strong desire to embark on a career as an insurance broker within the financial services industry.
In addition to excellent MS Office skills, as a Trainee Commercial Insurance Broker, you must be a team player. Great interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal, are also key.
