Our client a global pharmaceutical company is now looking to recruit a Manufacturing Engineer to join their plant based in Wicklow.

The Person

Third level degree in Mechanical Engineering

  • Demonstrated experience and knowledge in processes optimisation, cost reduction, efficiency building and quality enhancement is required for this role.
  • An ability to demonstrate problem-solving skills and exposure to Lean/Six Sigma methodologies would be highly desirable.
  • Strong leadership, communication and presentation skills and an ability to achieve objectives, without close supervision, in a team based environment are essential for this position
The Role

  • Performance Optimisation of existing and new equipment
  • Focus on Area of Change over Optimisation
  • Co-ordination of improvement projects in line with Company Performance initiatives.
  • Optimisation of all Safety Aspects within the Packaging area
  • Work with Artwork depots to ensure and optimise correct component selection for equipment
  • Provision of training for packaging personnel when required.
