This role will involve working in a multi disciplinary laboratory covering haematology, biochemistry and blood transfusion.
Job Responsibilities:
· Perform routine work to the highest standard, as determined by laboratory management.
· Ensure that all samples are processed in accordance with standard operating procedures.
· Be responsible for the quality of work in the laboratory and carry out duties in accordance with hospital policy.
The Candidate:
· Relevant Qualification in Biomedical Science
· A minimum of 6 months + experience required
· Ability to cover the on call rota
· Haematology, Blood Transfusion and / or biochemistry experience
· Permission to work in Ireland
· Professional qualification validated / membership of AMLS
· Professional approach to work
· Flexibility in work practice
