Supply Chain Manager Co Louth €50-€55k

The Supply Chain Manager is responsible for fulfillment of all products to customers including order management and processing while maximizing quality assurance, cost effectiveness and profitability. This individual will be expected to drive process solutions and have strong project management skills.

Demonstrated knowledge and use of financial control systems in a production environment.

Experience of implementing plans in a bid to increase efficiency and profitability of the plant.

Work closely with the marketing team in evaluating demand forecasts and manage master distribution plans to ensure that efficient stock ordering and planning. Arrange sufficient manpower.

Manage all inventory. Good Project Management Skills. Oracle experience desirable

Develop manufacturing organizational strategies by contributing manufacturing information, analysis, and recommendations to strategic thinking and direction; establishing functional objectives in line with organizational objectives.

Manage KPI's.

Ensure that the product meets the company's standards, policies and practices.

Implement and drive continuous improvement activities through implementation of change manage. Coordinate plant activities with material management to ensure the total fulfillment objectives are accomplished in a timely and cost effective mannerment process and best practices

Analyze and evaluate the effectiveness of existing programs, and recommend necessary improvements.

Work proactively with vendors to ensure continuous improvement and optimal production solutions for new and existing marketing materials and concepts as well as kit packing, fulfillment packing, distribution and postal requirements with a strong customer focus.

* Initiate drive and change regarding re-engineering
  • Bachelors degree engineering, operations, or similar discipline - including Lean Six Sigma
  • 5 years experience in a fulfillment production environment.
  • Minimum 5 years in a management role in a professional environment.
  • Experience of Plant Restructuring & Layout
  • Experience of Process / Product Engineering & Re-Engineering
  • Experience of Capacity & Man Power Planning
  • Experience of Purchasing
  • Experience of Feasibility Studies & justification preparation for Capital Investment
  • Ability to manage vendor service contracts with constant evaluation and monitoring of service levels.
  • Experience in fulfillment personalization preferred.
  • Experience in improving business processes via continuous process review and incorporation of available systems technologies.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Detail oriented with strong organizational and planning skills.
  • Able to multi-task and handle multiple priorities in a challenging, fast-paced environment
  • Experienced in JIT
