FRS Recruitment is currently hiring a Telecoms Developer for our client in Galway city. This is a rolling 2.5 year contract. This is a new position recently created due to expansion.

Job Description:

  • Part of a new and exciting technical team that provides extensive technical consultancy and support for Independent Software Vendor (ISVs) and other partners that develops products to work with our client’s portfolio.
  • Successful candidate will work closely with Business Development Managers to recruit, enable, test, and support third party partners.
  • The Telecoms Developer gives enhanced development support, provides advice and guidance to 3rd party companies to develop code against my clients products.
  • The team which the Telecoms Developer sits in writes sample code, FAQs, tutorials, provide technical guidance, consultancy and support, support Forums and host webinar for wide third party members.
Required:

  • 5+ years (8+ desired) experience in XML, VoiceXML, Java, C/C++, C#, .net, SOAP, J2EE, CORBA, Tomcat, Web Services, SOA, VB, LDAP, JDBC, ODBC, etc.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills including fluent English.
  • Bachelors degree (Masters preferred) in Computer Science, or equivalent experience
  • Experience with enterprise communications (VOIP, UCC, Contact Centre, Computer Telephony, SIP, etc.)
