My client in Dublin City are looking for a Technical Project Manager for an initial 6 month contract that is likely to extend.

To ensure that products/projects are developed on schedule and that both quality and functionality meets our customers' expectations. Enviornment would be a mixture of Java and C++.

Role:
  • Manage ongoing and new development in accordance with the established software development and testing processes.
  • Establish detailed and accurate project development plans.
  • Ensure that all project deliverables meet quality, cost, schedule and performance objectives.
  • Provide accurate status reporting across all projects
Experience:
  • 5+ years experience in the IT industry using industry standard techniques
  • Technical experience in software engineering
  • Proven track record of new product development
  • Experience of structured development methodology is absolutely essential
  • Strong track record of assuring software quality
  • A strong desire to make a difference
  • Able to set objectives, meet deadlines and work under pressure in a fast moving business
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Proven track record in successful people management
