The following are the principle responsibilities:
  • Ensure adherence to Sox and Business Control policies
  • Monitoring / Troubleshooting Multi Currency payments
  • Perform accounting quality reviews
  • Perform root cause analysis and resolve issues
  • Build Strong Working Relationships with local controllers, accountants and other SSC functions
  • Develop process improvement solutions for management
  • Prepare Account Reconciliations and detailed analysis
  • Troubleshooting for outsourced processes and controls, SAP general accounting processes
  • Research and resolve reconciliation issues
  • Run regular meetings & conference calls with clients when & where applicable
  • Creditors Reporting - to create & maintain databases/reports for the purpose of management information and decision making
  • Ability to understand and implement new/updated accounting rules and policies as required
  • Ensure compliance to Global Design and Best practice, identify process improvements where appropriate
  • Special project work as it is identified


Requirements
  • Recently qualified accountant and substantial accounting experience
  • Accounts Payable Accounting experience would be advantageous
  • Knowledge of US GAAP/IFRS technical accounting a distinct advantage
  • Experience in and deep understanding of judgmental accounting transactions such as accruals, prepayments and expense reporting.
  • Advanced proficiency in using Microsoft Office software (Excel, Word, etc.)
  • Multi-task and prioritize responsibilities
  • Strong analytical skills, research and issue resolution skills
  • Self-starter, high learning agility
  • Identify process improvement opportunities
  • Ability to influence at all levels without direct authority
  • Experience working in a high production, deadline driven environment
