Our Cork based pharmaceutical client currently has a contract vacancy (11 months) for a Team Accountant to join their team.

The successful candidate will form part of a high-performing finance team, responsible for the timely delivery of standardised processes, systems and information of the business.

Responsibilities

Support finance processes in multiple manufacturing sites from a central location, working to the following areas of specialization:

  • Capital
  • Compliance
  • Spend reporting
  • Month End closing and reporting
  • Forecasting and budgeting


  • Support depreciation budgeting and forecasting processes.
  • Support compliance activities relating to RCM updates.
  • Support internal / external audit for sites.
  • Completes balance sheet reconciliations of accruals and prepayments.
  • Manages all restructuring financial processes and reporting.
  • Processes month end processes.
  • Prepare a monthly site finance report.
  • Tracks changes to forecast and actual versus forecast for spend and PPV.
  • Focuses on spend and PPV budgeting processes.


Requirements

  • Degree qualified
  • ACA / ACCA / CPA qualified.
  • Minimum 3 – 4 yrs post qualification experience plus minimum 2yrs experience within a manufacturing environment.
  • Multi-site experience desirable.
  • Expert level manufacturing finance skills in month end processes, site forecasts, reporting, budgeting and forecasting.
  • Ability to work in a high performing team environment.
