Scope of responsibility -
The successful candidate will play a central role in using technology to streamline and improve business processes by:
* Acting as a regional or global expert providing second level support for business processes in Finance and Controlling.
* Assignment to key projects per the IT project plan e.g. new implementations of SAP in business units, automation projects, system upgrades.
* Managing and/or performing the design, testing and application of SAP systems in line with agreed timeframes, business requirements and global standards.
* Applying conceptual knowledge and technology to solve complex business processes and procedural problems.
* Carrying out detailed impact assessments for proposed change requests, proposing alternative cost-effective solutions where appropriate.
* Ensuring appropriate business involvement in project teams to build ownership for solutions.
Business & Technical Experience:
Essential
* A minimum of 5 years SAP FI/CO configuration to include experience of Product Costing, at least five of the following areas and a minimum of 3 full implementation life cycles:
o General Ledger (including integration points with other modules)
o Accounts Payable
o Accounts Receivable
o Banking
o Fixed Assets
o Controlling
o Profitability Analysis
o Product Costing
* Exceptional Communication Skills.
* Strong cross functional knowledge and understanding of the role of the finance function.
* Strong Leadership Skills - Team Leadership in Particular would be advantageous.
* Excellent Numeric, Diagnostic and Analysis Skills.
* Fluent English.
Preferred
* Experience of working within a FDA regulated industry.
* Basic level of ABAP understanding.
* Fluency in other European languages.
Qualifications & Education:
A minimum of a Bachelors degree in Business, Computer Science, Mathematics or Engineering.
