Role:
You will enjoy working in a team environment where you can share your experience and knowledge with other members of the team, helping to create a learning environment where everyone within the team grows and develops. Equally you will seek to expand your own role by identifying and driving improvements to the current processes and new development work.
Key Responsibilities:
•Supporting and resolving day to day production related issues.
•Produce technical specifications based on business requirements documents.
•Development of technical solutions and enhancements, while adhering to development standards, using Oracle technologies.
•Unit test all code prior to release to UAT, to ensure quality solutions are delivered.
•Work on collaborative projects where required.
Candidate profile:
You are educated to degree level and you have a proven ability to work creatively and analytically and to well under pressure. You are a team player and willing to share knowledge and you have excellent communication skills.
You have a solid background in Oracle software development, with at least 3 years Oracle experience (up to Oracle 10g). You should have at least 2 years of Oracle PL/SQL programming experience and/or Oracle Forms/Reports 9i experience. Any experience of SQL Tuning, XML, SOAP or Java would be desirable. If you were Oracle certified 8i/9i/10g this would be ideal.
