Reporting into the General Manager and joining the Senior Management team this role will be responsible for the Technical Quality function with responsibility for elements of NPD and H&S also. You will be required to motivate, develop and support a team of people. You will need to be focused on continuous improvement, ensuring the requirements of the business and customer are met at all times. You will also be responsible for interfacing with the major retailers from a technical stand point in relation to all matters related to quality and new product introduction.
The successful candidate will be
• Educated to minimum of degree level or equivalent within a Technical/food science or related subject
• Previous experience within the food manufacturing industry, preferably with exposure or understanding of the canning process
• Experienced QA Manager or Technical Manager looking for an opportunity to make a difference within the business
• Experience of maintaining Quality Management Systems
• Experience of managing people
• In-depth understanding of environmental hygiene
• HACCP experience
In addition, you will need strong, clear communication skills with effective time management skills. Fluency in Dutch would be considered a distinct advantage
