As Automation Technician you will be responsible for electrical and mechanical automated plant equipment maintenance and repair and provide support to all manufacturing.

Duties :

· Plant equipment maintenance and repair and provide technical support to all manufacturing.

· Read, understand, and draft Electrical schematics

· Electrical wiring of new and existing control panels for machines on lines and clean room or for R&D.

· Rewiring, upgrading or altering of existing wiring in a machine depending on the requirements of the machine

· Assist in defining basic electrical component and automated control requirements.

· Uses applicable EN standards and directives to ensure that equipment is CE compliant

Skills & Qualifications

· Time served electrical or mechanical trades experience or Diploma in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering considered

· At least 3 years experience in mechanical, electrical or equipment maintenance in a regulated environment.

· A knowledge of Allen Brady PLC and PC Controlled equipment

· Machine build experience
