Our client, a leading healthcare organisation in Sligo is seeking to recruit a Project Training Specialist for a 6-9 month contract.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a training project that aims to simplify site job training plans and ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Introduce and design new training material and job training aids for new hires to the organisation across all departments.
  • Introduce competency based assessment tools.
  • Manage the ISO Train system - Maintain all documents in relation to training including records, absence forms, exemption forms, trainer qualifications and training presentations.
  • In addition, ensure all employees provide a certificate of qualifications.
  • Process all documents in the Documentum system when training is complete.
  • Design and deliver various types of training programmes to all levels of employees.
  • To measure and continually improve effectiveness of training.
  • Manage the train the trainer programme to ensure all trainers are appropriately qualified to deliver training.
  • Ensure that all employees involved in the manufacture of drug products are adequately trained in health, safety, environmental and GMP.
  • To source training programmes that meet the development needs of employees within budget constraints.
Requirements:

  • Knowledge of quality documentation and designing job training plans and job training aids.
  • Relevant third level qualification
  • CIPD qualification preferred
  • Excellent interpersonal/communication skills and a demonstrated flexible and innovative approach to work.
  • Membership of the Irish Institute of Training and Development.
  • Previous experience in Training design and delivery essential.
  • Previous experience working in a regulated environment an advantage.
  • Project management skills essential.
