My client, a leading organisation in their field, are looking to expand their accountancy function withe the addition of a Financial Analyst on a 1 year fixed term contract. This role would suit a fully qualified ACA / ACCA / CIMA Accountant with a strong track record of performance. A grounding in Big 4 practice would be of major benefit. As this role will have a major focus on management accounting, experience in this area is essential.
Responsabilities:
- work closely with Operations in a financial support capacity
- management and improvement of standard costing systems
- calculation and analysis of month end variances
- reporting of these variances
- monthly forecasting calculations
- working within Lean guidlines
- project cost tracking and reporting
- ad hoc duties
- a full ACA / ACCA / CIMA qualification
- previous experience within a manufacturing environment
- have previous experience with a Big 4 practice
- have strong technical and analytical skills
- have excellent communication and report writting skills
