Purpose of Job:

This is a key leadership role within my client's support organisation tasked with implementing a scalable business intelligence solution to support best practice performance management from both internal and external transactional systems. This role will not only champion the implementation of a master data strategy across company information systems landscape but also empower internal teams and external clients alike with reporting solutions that answer the many questions around what's driving their "cost to serve" and "revenue by customer" metrics whilst always looking to improve the customer service experience.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead, motivate and develop a business intelligence team
  • Provide guidance and leadership to the Business Intelligence (BI) team and create a collaborative and motivating work environment within the Information Technology, Technical Innovation, Resource planning and Operations teams ensuring all service levels agreements are maintained
  • Be involved in new business set up and implementation. Working with the company's support departments during project set up and to ensure Client's requirements are fulfilled on an ongoing basis
  • Liaise with business units and be a driver of change to ensure a robust reporting environment exists to support the effective management of all operational business units through the delivery of best practice reporting solutions.
  • Positively contribute to new business tendering process including any research and development projects where business intelligence and data analytics services are required
  • Be responsible for the establishment of governance practices for the monitoring of operational reporting processes to control all internal and external risks associated with reporting both financial and non financial information.
  • Actively communicate company vision and goals clearly to internal and external stakeholders


Requirements:
  • Strong functional and technical skills with proven abilities in best practice technologies such as latest Microsoft BI Stack, SQL, Oracle, OBIEE and Java operating within a BPO industry across CRM, XRM and ERP application environments.
  • Highly motivated results oriented professional with excellent leadership and management skills and a proven track record for successfully implementing complex projects
  • Be comfortable at translating business needs into functional and technical requirements while ensuring efficient transition of reporting solutions to business end-users and stakeholders alike
  • Demonstrated ability to implement and monitor governance processes
  • Extensive experience proactively managing customer relationships and projects with multiple stakeholders which may at times have competing priorities.
  • Commercially aware and effective problem solver that strategically examines and re-engineers processes, procedures and practices when recommending reporting solutions.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence and guide others in order to deliver results.
  • Experienced with budgeting, cost estimation and analysis and fiscal management principles and procedures
