Embedded Software Engineers required for permanent roles in Shannon & Dublin.

The role

The role incorporates the full software development life cycle from requirements planning and analysis to design and development, test and support, using best in class development processes. It requires an Engineer comfortable developing within large software systems with an understanding of the underlying hardware configuration. The role involves development of communication protocol and network technology software.

The Person

  • Primary Degree in Electronics, Software /Computer Engineering or related fields.
  • 2 years+ experience in Software Development in C or C++ in multithreaded RTOS.
  • Linux Kernel and User Space and device driver experience.
  • Good understanding of Intel computer architecture, operating systems and network protocols.
  • Good organization and communication skills (written and oral English) and ability to
    work in a team or own initiative.
  • Experience in security protocols, ClearCase, hardware or software debuggers, and assembly language an advantage.
