An award winning software development company is currently recruiting Junior and Senior level C# .Net software developers, to become part of an innovative and rapidly growing software development team based in Limerick.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Designing and developing web application solutions to meet the evolving requirements of our client customers and new product development.
  • Working as part of the product development team ensuring product requirements are coded, tested and delivered to the highest standards.
  • Play a key role in ensuring high quality code and solutions are delivered by the product development team Working with Product Marketing and Business Analysis’s to define product requirements and resolve issues relating to use cases and implementation.
Essential Skills / Experience:
  • Third level Degree in Software Engineering or an equivalent qualification
  • Excellent interpersonal, teamwork and communication skills (both verbal and written)
  • Strong C# / .Net knowledge
  • Minimum 1-2 years of .NET/ASP Development for Junior position, 3-5 for Senior position.
  • Minimum 1-2 years post qualification experience for the Junior position and 3-5 years for the Senior position in a software development role with experience of all aspects of the development life cycle, preferably on enterprise scale systems
  • Knowledge of Web Technologies (HTML, jQuery, AJAX, CSS, etc)
  • Strong object-oriented design and coding skills
  • Experience working in Microsoft’s Visual Studio 2008 or 2010 Professional Edition Environment.
  • Experience in using source code control management systems – commercial or open source
  • Ability to work on own initiative, in a fast paced environment with attention to detail
  • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills, an ability to understand complex problems and generate appropriate pragmatic technical solutions
  • Experience with MS SQL Server 2005/2008
Desirable Skills / Experience:
  • Unit Testing
  • Database design and performance optimization.
  • Experience with Microsoft Windows Azure and / or Amazon AWS

  • Proven ability to analyse technical software development/design issues and manage them to resolution
  • A proven ability to contribute to an effective and positive team environment
  • Energetic and eager to learn and implement new technologies when required
