THE JOB

As part of our engineering services team your primary role will be to deliver engineering projects for our customers inIreland. These projects will typically involve the analysis, design, development and integration of new systems that will be implemented as upgrades of existing machines/plant or on new installations.

These systems will be effectively integrated with other plant or machine elements including Safety Devices, PLC based control systems, Hydraulic and Pneumatic systems, motion control systems, Mechanical Guarding elements etc.

Using automation and electrical engineering principles you will become an expert in the implementation of safety systems to machines and/or production lines.

You will serve as a technical contributor in the development of technical solutions to meet our customers’ needs.

THE PERSON:

You will have a strong understanding of all major machine elements including: Hydraulics, Pneumatics, Motion Control, and Electrical Control; and which may include installation, commissioning and down time management; and you will also have:

8+ years' experience in the electrical engineering field, preferably with experience in the design and/or upgrade of manufacturing machines or plant equipment.

A relevant degree in engineering, preferably in electrical, industrial or control systems.

Experience with installation, troubleshooting as well as programming and the supervision or contribution to Electrical and Mechanical design, installation and commissioning teams.

The ability to work on your own initiative and as part of a multi-disciplined team.

Good project management skills.
