Skills & Qualifications:
• 5-7 years relevant experience as a Network/Systems administrator, working in a large enterprise environment with increasingly complex and progressive experience
• Vendor certification a plus
• Experience with Cisco, Juniper, HP, Riverbed, Array Networks, Vyatta
• Excellent Cisco Switch, Router, VPN, firewall, and Load Balancing Equipment knowledge
• In-depth routing protocols experience – BGP, OSPF, HSRP, VRRP, MPLS
• Experience with reporting protocols and tools – netflow, sflow, ntop, splunk, etc.
Desirable
• Linux server experience a plus
• Experience with Rancid or configuration management
• Ability to develop and maintain software to aid in the testing of the network systems
implementing alternate approaches to resolve difficult problems
• Experience generating documentation for peers and NOC staff
