Our client is one of Ireland’s leading Fashion Retailers and are is seeking a Head Fashion Buyer , to join their young, Dynamic team here in Dublin.

Job role of the Head Fashion Buyer :

This is primarily a Fashion Strategy and buyer manager position. Reporting directly to the CEO, you will be responsible for defining fashion range, fashion direction, fashion product and through your team of experienced buyers, defining the strategy going forward. This is a job for an experienced fashion buying manager. Team management is a big part of the role.

You will be responsible for developing, coaching and performance managing a team of 6 Buyers. As Head Fashion Buyer , your job will be to:



Achieve Profitability and margin targets, Source new and innovation fashion brands ahead of the curve, be the final sign of for the fashion range, build mutually beneficial relationships with fashion suppliers and manage a successful team of fashion buyers.


Knowledge and Skills required for the of the Head Fashion Buyer job

  • You will have minimum of 8 years buying experience in Fashion/Sport Categories.
  • A minimum of 3 years people management experience with a proven record in developing and performance managing a Buying Team
  • Third Level qualification in Buying and Business or related discipline.
  • Experience delivering range presentations, incorporating a financial and strategic perspective, to a varied audience including senior teams.
