A multinational company in Galway city seeks a dynamic Sales Manager to join our management team. The company is a provider of technical coating services and material treatments to different industries and critical component manufacturers.
Customer satisfaction, timely resolution and a flair for sales are at the heart of this role so you must be professional, confident, and engaging when dealing with all potential and existing customers to allow you build sales effectively and swiftly throughout Ireland & UK.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:


    Identify and develop new customers with a focus on delivering recurring revenue streams.
    Develop and grow new services for the expansion and growth of the Galway facility.
    Provide accurate, timely technical sales reports, with a focus on coatings in three main markets: medical device, electronics & aviation.
    Interacting with customers using a variety of communication tools including face-to- face meetings.
    Develop and maintain robust, long term customer relationships through regular, scheduled contact throughout the customer base.
    Liaison with our existing European sales force on potential customers in other European countries.
    Work alongside our marketing team to develop and execute campaigns to drive new business.
    Provide technical presentations and actively support events and exhibitions within Europe.

Skills & Experience Required:


The ideal candidate will possess:

    Degree level qualification in Science or Engineering.
    Able to demonstrate previous sales experience (3-5 years) and a successful track record in business to business sales.
    A skilled negotiator, capable of building strong relationships at various levels within the customer organisation.
    An excellent communicator with the ability to present conference papers and technical presentations.
    Knowledge & experience of coatings within the medical device or electronic industries would be a distinct advantage.
    Strongly self motivated individual with positive interpersonal skills, who is effective at building high level customer relationships.
    Must be self driven, highly organized and have excellent time management skills.
    Strongly focused on results.
    Good computer skills including MS Office and customer relationship management (CRM) database.
    Willingness to travel frequently throughout Ireland and the UK is essential. Occasional travel to rest of Europe and USA may also be required.
