Account Executive(Leinster based) Advertising exp essential

Reporting to the Direct Sales Manager, the Account Executive is responsible for the delivery of annual sales targets from Direct Client business development covering new business across Leinster and parts of Munster. As an experienced sales executive, you will be able to maximise revenues from direct clients at local level using your strong sales skills and techniques with an extensive knowledge of media.

The role demands an experienced sales professional, with a strong understanding of sales best practice including relationship management, prospecting, objection handling, negotiation and closing.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record within sales and the ability to work proactively and demonstrate the flexibility necessary to meet demands of the role. Your determination in nurturing key accounts to the full spending potential and self motivation is essential to this role.

It is essential to the role that the Account Executive holds a driving licence in order to travel within their assigned market.
COMPETENCIES:
  • Technical grounding and understanding of the Outdoor portfolio.
  • Ability to identify client need, sales opportunities and hence grow the revenue and client base.
  • An understanding of and the ability to articulate and follow a qualification process.
  • Ability to translate features and advantages of Outdoor propositions into tangible business benefits.
  • Ability to anticipate and overcome sales objections.
  • An understanding of different sales closure techniques.
  • Ability to forecast, record and report accurately.

  • Possess excellent verbal communication, written communication and presentation skills.
  • Demonstrate the ability to build effective and rewarding relationships at all levels both internally and externally.
  • Deliver high quality written proposals to clients.
