A German-speaking Applications Support Engineer is urgently required by a Software firm based in Dublin City Centre. This role exists within an Applications Team of Degree-qualified and technically skilled Software Engineers, who work together to provide a fast and efficient response to a Global base of financial clients speaking German and English. The role is heavily client-focused and the support is at premium level and includes: The diagnosis of core web-based and client/server application issues, the maintenance of client test environments for problem replication and tailoring solutions to the clients' production environment.

Requirements:
A 3rd Level Software Qualification
2-4 years IT experience, preferably tailoring software applications
Minimum 2 years working in a customer-oriented support capacity
Knowledge of multiple Applications Servers (see below)
Experience working within a ticketed support environment
Fluent English AND German, both written and spoken.

Technologies involved:
J2EE; SQL Server; Oracle;XML; JBOSS; DB2; Websphere and WebLogic; Unix/Linux
