Founded in 1991, our client offers maintenance and engineering asset management consultancy services. These range from asset care evaluations to maintenance strategy development. An opportunity has now arisen for a Senior Reliability Engineer to join their team.
If you have reliability, safety or systems engineering experience and a great track record of leading a team within the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry, this is a fantastic opportunity. Excellent career progression prospects are on offer for the right candidate.
As a Senior Reliability Engineer, you will support all filling and packing operations. Supervising a team of craftsmen on a shift basis, you will deliver effective maintenance support.
Your key focus will be on planning, allocating and managing all maintenance activities and resources to meet business needs. Liaising with other business unit supervisors, you will also work closely with technical support groups and the quality, technical services and logistics functions.
Your duties will include:
- Integrating maintenance with production and continuous improvement activities
- Ensuring that follow-up actions are taken to prevent reoccurrence of breakdowns
- Contributing to cross departmental projects and initiatives
- Working collaboratively with the teams to identify improvements
To be considered for this position, you must have:
- Reliability, safety or systems engineering experience gained at a senior level
- A proven track record of managing a team within the pharmaceutical or healthcare sector
- A strong technical background with a degree in a relevant engineering discipline
As a Senior Reliability Engineer, you must be an excellent team player with strong management skills and a flair for leadership. Great interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal, are also a must.
Whilst not essential, a working knowledge of Lean principles would benefit your application.
