Key Responsibilities:
- Reporting to the Group Financial Controller, the successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of the accounting Function for one division of the business.
- Responsible for running a weekly payroll for c 60 staff.
- Involved in the set-up of a new accounting function for the company’s Dublin operation, including the development of accounting controls and reports for the business.
- Generating weekly and monthly management and control reports and management accounts.
- Responsible for cash and credit control for the division.
- All other accounting duties as required by the position.
Key Skills, Qualifications & Experience required:
- Fully qualified Accountant or Highly experienced Accounting Technician
- 3 years experience in an Accounting position within industry.
- Experience in the hospitality industry would be a distinct advantage.
- Candidates must have experience in payroll.
- Candidates should have experience in using accounting and payroll systems such as Exchequer, Sage and Earnie.
Other:
- This is a new position being created by the company.
- The position will be based in Wexford area but the appointee will be required to travel to the company’s Dublin operation one day per week approx.
Salary €35k to €40k plus mileage expenses
