Product Manager (m/f) Calibration Management Solutions
With of our Plant Asset Management portfolio, we support and help our customers to execute and optimize work procedures and business processes in connection with their "assets" – for instance, field devices. In this far-ranging field of activity, integrated solutions to optimize work processes focusing on the calibration of field devices represents an important task. You, as our future Product Manager of CompuCal, our calibration-management solution, will be in charge of the software tools designed to calibrate field devices and shall be in charge of the technical management of product marketing in a team of experts. Your basic tasks will include the collection and analysis of market and customer requirements, e.g. by visiting our customers or sales centers all over the world and implementing the respective solutions for our portfolio of products. You will support our sales during product launches by creating and compiling marketing material and also offer coaching and training. Due to our international channels of distribution, we expect you to be able and willing to travel (max. 20%). Within our company, you shall moreover plan and monitorthe implementation of market requirements in co-operation with our R&D partners and testing department and provide the specifications for the production process. You represent and promote our product portfolio with the help of publications, presentations and by participating in conferences and fairs, etc., with special focus on marketing tasks.
You have successfully completed technical or scientific studies and have already acquired some practical experiencewith a similar range of products, preferably in the process industry. Or you have completed a technical education andhave several years of experience in marketing or product management. Advantageous is, in particular, some practical experience in the field of calibration management, metrology, quality management in the process industry or similar.
Because you will be working in and with national and international networks, an affinity to lead others without a supervisory function will be necessary. Thanks to your social competence and skilled rhetoric you know how to convince and motivate customers and colleagues alike. You are able to use the scope of work granted you, to get things moving and, in doing so, combine a strategic direction with a pragmatic approach. Our international contacts will require you to be fluent in both German and English. Additional language skills will facilitate your task
