Information Architect - Contract

Leading digital agency located in Dublin 2 is looking to recruit an Information Architect to join their team to work with Global brands to produce websites, games, mobile apps and interactive installations.

Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop world-class functional specifications
  • Model system behaviours using best practice methods for communicating architecture and design.
  • Ensure designs and implementations are consistent with the existing architecture.
  • Design to performance requirements to ensure that all websites, web applications, services and mobile apps are highly scalable and can support high volumes of traffic
  • Transition specifications to developments teams to ensure precise design specifications and implementation plans
  • Review the development of unit tests, system integration, stress and user acceptance testing, to ensure world-class implementation of complex solutions.


Skills Required:
  • Strong command of CSS, HTML5, XHTML, JavaScript, PHP, MySQL, social APIs (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn)
  • Extensive MySQL or other RDBMS performance tuning experience
  • Creation of Web Services using PHP (NuSOAP, PEAR Soap and/or PHP Native SOAP)
  • Knowledge of and experience publishing and parsing semantic XHTML
  • Client-side JavaScript performance engineering
  • Familiarity with both the Prototype and jQuery JavaScript libraries
  • Strong ability to integrate front-end designs with back-end systems
  • Strong understanding of Usability, Human Computer Interaction, and Design Guidelines
  • Full knowledge of cross platform display issues between major browsers and platforms
