Deployment Engineer required for a leading Telecommunications Software Firm in Dublin 18. The purpose of the Senior Rollout Engineer is to ensure the smooth integration of customised software on an external Telecom client's network, successful and on-time deployment of projects, and the support and roll-out of longer term strategies, capacity planning, and optimization of live and future services. This permanent position will begin in March 2012 and will involve anywhere between 15-30% travel internationally, mentoring Junior Engineers and working closely with an Operations team.

To get this role you will be degree qualified with at least 5 years experience of on-site rollouts of Software Products, leading projects for external clients and working with external Engineering and Operations teams on projects involving: TCP/IP Network Infrastructure, GPRS & 3G Services, Software and Hardware Optimisation. Technical Requirements : Strong familiarity with deployments on Linux environments (RedHat, Ubuntu, Solaris) and accompanying scripting skills (Perl, Python, Bash, etc.) Database Skills: Advanced SQL and experience with Oracle, DB2, etc.
