My Client, a leader FS provider of corporate and investment banking services is looking for a Head of Internal Audit with strong exposure to global markets and wealth management



The ideal candidate will have previously worked as Director of Audit/Head of Internal Audit/Consultant in Audit within one of the leading FS clients.

BIG 4 candidates at director level will also be considered

Strong exposure to Capital markets (derivatives, bonds, etc) combined with in-depth exposure to wealth management are Key for this role



In this role, you will have various reporting lines to Dublin, London and US



Main duties:

• Planning, execution and supervision of the audit process

• Provide direction to the audit team through the different assignments with Particular focus on Global Markets.


• Liaise with senior leaders forums (Risk and Operations).


• Manage Global Market Operations and Middle Office Audit & Legal Entity audit oversight

• Be the most senior point of contact of Corporate Audit in Ireland by attending senior leaders forums

• Responsible for issue management overall. Ensure development, management and closure validation for all issues to drive timely and appropriate mitigation of the risk.

• Relationship with Financial Regulators and Senior Management


• Manage SOX engagement.

My client is paying a competitive salary package (around the 100's mark) + Health insurance + Pension + Bonus. This role is Permanent too.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate will be qualified ACCA/ACA with min 8-10 years PQE in an Audit / Risk Management / Compliance within a FS company

It is an essential requirement to have strong product knowledge of Financial Markets as it will be the main focus of the audit role.
