Job Description:
- Support day to day activities of Portfolio Plus system
- Report Writing using Prospector Cyberquery / SQL
- Troubleshoot IT problems to identify root cause.
- Provide user training as requested by manager.
- Accept calls from users and define problems
- Provide second level support for business applications issues.
- Assign problems to appropriate resource where necessary
- Administer, maintain and support general TCP/IP network.
- Provide reporting as requested by manager.
- Maintain user profiles on Portfolio Plus & Windows Network
- Perform various technical housekeeping and support activities as assigned by manager.
- Assist with EDI administrative tasks, as needed.
- Investigate issues with inbound & outbound communication issues
- Develop thorough knowledge of infrastructure and provide backup for I.T.Manager
Core Skills Required:
- General Network experience within a Windows environment with some Linux exposure
- Office product support particularly EXCEL
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Self Starter with ability to understand and analyse complex issues
- Experience of help desk or application support environment
- Experience in ERP or Financial systems
- Familiarity with basic IT infrastructure (WAN / LAN / Windows / Exchange)
- Ability to work as part of a tight knit team & willingness to share knowledge & train others
The position is a one year contract and salary will be commensurate with experience
