EMEA Tax Manager - Midlands Excellent Basic Salary + Benefits Package available

This is an exciting opportunity for a suitably qualified candidate to join a leading and highly regarded multinational organisation in this essential role. Reporting to the Director of International Tax, you will be responsible for managing accounting for income taxes under US GAAP principles.

In this role, you will be repsonsible for:

  • US GAAP Tax Accounting and provisions
  • the preparation of tax reporting packages for quarterly and annual tax provisions for subsidiaries in the EMEA region
  • providing support and managing local controllers and GL Accountants to ensure timely and accurate preparation of tax provisions
  • review of quarterly tax provision in TaxStream
  • provide assistance to EMEA Controllersand review Deferred Tax Assets and Liabilities
  • supervise preparation of Return to Accrual adjustments
  • assist the US corporate tax team in calculation of tax reserves with respect to uncertain tax positions of EMEA entities
  • review tax provisions with outside consultants
  • various ad hoc projects as required
To apply, you must meet the following requirements:

  • have a minimum of five years tax eperience working in public accounting (Big 4) or in a corporate environment
  • be a qualified ACA, ACCA or CPA Accountant
  • an AITI qualification would be a plus
  • have direct experience with US TAx Provisions
  • have experience working with US GAAP tax accounting
  • ideally have experience working in or with EMEA based multinational organisations
  • knowledge of TaxStream would be of benefit
